Ecotel Hotel is a 10 out of a prize of three stars, excellent value for money. 10 minutes walk to the Pratunam market, some taxi drivers near the hotel is not on the counter. When you leave the hotel, turn left at the first road on your left, go down (5 minutes) and taxi drivers without any problem. I get a motorcycle taxi for the most part, I ask the hotel staff how much I pay and they are more than willing to help. I can not say enough about the hotel, great value for money, I paid $ 38 AUD per night, was 3 weeks, tops buffet breakfast. I think they made a mistake and I got it at half price. when I was only interested in touring the markets of Pratunam I can not tell you about the train. Great value, hated to leave. Good luck.
